Grand Raid Tour
Tignes will play host to the first stage of the 2006 Grand Raid Tour. This world renowned off piste area will welcome both amateur and professional freeriders competing in teams of two against the clock.

4-5 February
Nokia French Ski and Snowboard Cup Halfpipe event
Tignes is hosting France's top snowboarders and skiers at the halfpipe at the foot of Grande Motte.

5&6 February,
Snow games Tour RMC
Parallel slalom, big air, soccer tournament, sledge racing, airboard...

11 March
Free's Tignes
The big event for instructors from all the ski schools, who compete in a special big air competition for pros and riding fanatics.

22 March
King of Jib Vid contest
What's a jib vid? Do some tricks in the snowpark, film them, make up a story, edit the pictures and produce the best video! The teams of 2 riders and 1 cameraman have one day to film all their sequences around Tignes. There's one rule: the video must be 90 seconds long, but anything goes!

24 - 30 April
End-of-season celebrations - Black Shoes
To celebrate the end of the winter season, Tignes and the main players in the resort are organising a week of celebrations with races, Olympic-style games, concerts, barbecues and more... And the 29/30 of April, during the Black Shoes Tignes goes back to the good old days of skiing on telemark skis!
